This traditional shaker is crafted by skilled Balinese artisans using authentic pangi seeds. The shell comes from the fruit pod of the Pangi tree (Pangium edule) in tropical Southeast Asia and produces a natural sound that ranges from soft leaf-like textures to rain and water effects. It works as both a subtle rhythmic layer and a distinctive atmospheric accent in performance or recording. These can also be tied to a hi-hat on a drum kit.

Suitable for folk, world music, reggae, acoustic settings, classrooms, music therapy, meditation, and sound-based wellness practices.

Pangi seeds are also known as Buah Keluak or Kepayang.
