CajonsOriginally a Peruvian instrument, cajons are box-shaped and are played with the hands against the thin plywood surface. Could be thought of as playing a snare like a hand drum. Very unique sound, and becoming quite popular. The bass cajon has a deeper, lower resonance than the regular cajon.
